what book are u reading for the last couple of days?
Agatha Christie - a pocket full of rye
3 murders so far
great :o)
i recommend!
Conduct Under Fire: Four American Doctors And Their Fight for Life as Prisoners of the Japanese 1941-1945 by John A. Glusman. His father was one of the doctors. Besides the historical events & personal recollections, there is quite a bit of military strategy. Sometimes tedious, but usually interesting.

Even though I’ve read this book before, I just recently picked it back up and started reading it again. It’s called "A child called it" by David Pelzer. It teaches people to stand up against child abuse. I highly recommend people to read this.

Children of The Dust by Louise Lawrence
It’s about a country that has been torn apart by nuclear warfare. In the book we see the stories of several different groups of people, including the outsiders who are breeding a new race of mutated humans and the bunker people who survived underground in a military bunker, continuing the human race.
It’s required for my English class. Quite an interesting book, I recommend it. Though it’s very sad, so far.

The Good Guy by Dean Koontz
A guy walks into a bar and is mistaken for a hired killer. He tries to pay off the REAL killer and, for a time, it seems as if this will work. But the killer catches on and the chase is on, as "the good guy" tries to save a beautiful woman from death.
To add to the intrigue, she has no idea why anyone would want her killed. Neither does he, of course.
